ASSIGNMENT 1

In this first project, we were assigned to make a group of maximum 10 members. We have to do a group campaign to get as many votes as possible, you can do it using social media, Instagram or physically, as in taking signature from other people. The group that gets elected will get a chance to decide what Assignment 2 is!

THE AVALANCHE

An avalanche, also called a snow-slide, is a cohesive slab of snow lying upon a weaker layer of snow in the snowpack that fractures and slides down a steep slope when triggered.

We chose this group name as avalanches are unstoppable and unpredictable like us. The imprésivible et imparable on the flag is actually the French word of unstoppable and unpredictable, we chose French is because it sounds more elegant.

ASSIGNMENT 2

This Second Assignment is an individual work, where we are required to create something that represents ourselves in any form, painting, collage, sculpture, fictional character, comic strip etc. We can make anything as long as it is a non digital medium. We have to post up a maximum of 10 pictures of our final product in Times and explain why we did this to represent ourselves.

I chose to do an alien head model out of newspaper, wood glue, a balloon and paint. It is because I have a nickname called alien, with a lowercase 'a'. My nickname came from my friends that found out that I was weird compare to them so they started calling me alien. That is why I chose to do an alien head.

ASSIGNMENT 3 & FINAL ASSIGNMENT

Project Description

In this third and final assignment, we have to choose and support a statement below:

Everything originated from nature is original and natural
Everything synthetic using nature is original and natural

Then, we have to brainstorm and map out our ideas on a white t-shirt. Each member should have 1 t-shirt and must be worn during the presentation. During final presentation day, we have to send one of our representative to represent our final outcome of the statement we chose about how nature is being destroyed and why nature must be preserved related to the chosen statement.

EGG for EIGHT

We are called EGG for EIGHT because before we added Vimal into our group there was only eight girls in the group and we wanted our group name to rhyme so we called it EGG for EIGHT. But after adding Vimal into the group, which means there is egg girls and one boy in the group so we decide to not change the group name and stay the same, to explain this we all agree to the saying EGG represents Vimal and EIGHT represents us eight girls.

We all agreed to the statement, Everything synthetic using nature is original and natural. We decided to use ribbons to make the flowers, fake grass and colored sticks as stems. We didn't want to use real leaves and flower because we didn't want it to wilt and also the main reason is because we did not want to destroy the plants.
